Yuzu Spritz

These are a super light and subtly fizzy cocktail with a slightly floral flavor- they’ll go great with anything from brunch to an at-home cocktail hour. For a mocktail version, see simply omit the elderflower liqueur and substitute more seltzer water for the cava. Makes 2.

Ingredients

  • 4oz yuzu syrup or juice (check your local Asian grocery store)

  • 4oz St. Germain elderflower liqueur

  • 6oz Cava brut, chilled

  • Sparkling water, chilled

  • Lemon or yuzu peels for garnish

  • Ice

  • Combine your yuzu syrup and elderflower liqueur in a cocktail shaker full of ice and shake for 15-20 seconds

  • Strain into two coupe glasses and top off with the Cava, then a splash of sparkling water.

  • Twist the citrus peels into spirals to garnish and enjoy!
